The surrounding countryside was a rural idyll, with sheep and lambs in the adjoining field, which was such a treat to see. We absolutely loved our stay at Westside Cottage in Newby. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had a spacious bath and a great shower. The living room was cozy, and we enjoyed the view of sheep right outside the window. The location in the peaceful village was perfect for our 3 Peaks Challenge the next day. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the nearby Goats Gap Cafe.
